Boundaries

Boundaries are as important to your creative freedom as creative freedom is.

Open your mind a little bit and realize that without a boundary there is no freedom, because why do you need freedom if there are no boundaries? There is no need for freedom therefore there is no need for boundaries therefore you turn into a russian doll of an idealist piece of crap who never does anything and never gets anywhere in some cases.

Make some fun boundaries.

A fun thing about making your own boundaries is that you can move them at any time :D

what i reckon is that there should be no boundaries in the WHOLE FREAKIN WORLD MAN! and before you say russian doll etc just think of this: there is no freedom OR boundaries, these are just concepts we’ve come up with in our own head. we don’t have a head either!

Yeah, I wasn’t trying to discuss the actual meaning of boundaries. I wanted to explain my point of view on how boundaries in anything creative tend to further your “freedom” or your idea of it circa your situation.

Thanks for the comment though, got me thinking.

you mean like, i practice, i get better at guitar? I think it was plato that said..stop me if i’m wrong or boring you, that we don’t learn things, we already know them, we just remember them. that’s my ‘idealistic’ interpretation, but THAT got me thinking! hahah i’ll be funny again and stop talking about philosophy-nonsense if you want ;)
